Word. For that amount, we should be able to perform a song with the band on stage.

Although I agree it's supply and demand and as I have previously state, I would prefer them to just go back to one pit, one price and first come first served.

However, I think it's wholeheartedly ugly to start blaming other fans for paying the prices to get premium seats. Now let me be clear, I think this comes down to personal opinion but you cannot blame people for saving their money and using it to guarantee they get a cracking seat; that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Also, the casual fans who have money to burn and spend thousands on pit tickets; go for it. You've made your money, do what you want with it.

The blame for these inflated prices is with the promoter, band and management who cooked the O2 gigs up as an exercise in testing the water with ticket prices and of course people with the disposable income are going to pay it.

For those who didn't/won't, you've got about as much right to complain as the rich bloke in the pit who is pissed off he paid a grand each for him and his daughters to stand five feet from Bon Jovi and then security give away the last five pit seats for free.

If I was worth millions, then the cost is relative and I would have bought the whole damn pit and invited people along for free.

C'MON FEET; Not sure if you're just trying to be antagonistic for a laugh or if you're just a tiny bit of a socialist bully but; what and how anyone spends their money is up to them. If you can't afford to get as close as you would have liked, you don't have the right to start asking those who did how much they donated to charity. Don't dress your need to inflame/jealousy up as a crusade against capitalism.

Everyone has a choice and I may not like that new way Bon Jovi are going about this but I won't ever blame another ticket-buying fan for it.

I think you guys misunderstand me. My problem isn't with the amount of money people choose to spend. It's about people who complain about the price of the tickets, but then go out and buy a ticket and then continue to complain.

I am not saying you guys are those people, but they exist. Think about it:

Could you imagine how stupid it would be to look at a house, say 'I cant afford to buy that house' then go out and buy it? Then as soon as you buy it, to start whining about how much it cost?

Don't you think that's a bit silly?

For a thousand bucks, Jon would have to do a lot more than shake my hand...an invite back to his motel room perhaps...

Nah, I'll still complain! It's my right as a consumer after all. Plus, there was a little piece of me that hoped that the O2 was a one-off, even though commercially I knew it was highly unlikely.

I am not 'buying the house' and then saying 'it's shit and not worth what I paid for it' I'm simply acknowledging the fact that the property prices have flown up and everyone is forced to pay over the odds if they want to move.

But I won't go up to the guy in an 8 bedroom detached farmhouse who willingly paid 4mil for it and accuse him of driving the prices up for all of us, then ask him how much he gives to charity.

This started long before 02 the testing of the waters first started several years ago at the Borgata show in the US where they sold tables and has grown over time till now.

I will still complain too and I have spent a lot on tickets - 4 shows and I am at $1650 dollars and thats not a single package.

I dont blame fans for buying them, I just don't think anyone should have to pay that much to be near the front.

I don't agree with paying to meet someone either - I would want to put a song on the setlist for $2K

Have you been to a Staduim show on The Circle Tour yet? I am not sure how you can say that ACDC would be better or worse if you havent experianced it first hand.

As for people getting a reality check, that is a very narrow minded view. If that was the case we would only have one option on everything we buy. If someone wants to buy a $100,000.00 car and i buy a holden worth $30,000.00 ur saying the people who spend more money need a reality check?? or if i buy a house worth $1,000.000.00 instead of buying a house worth $500,000.00 i need a reality check??.

If you have saved up the $ and are prepared to spend $1000 on a ticket to a Bon Jovi show then you have the right to do that. And all the packages are sold out, so the demand is there. As far as it goes if you personally dont think that the $1000 is value for money, dont buy the ticket.

Im not going to get into an argument about it, you are against the ticket prices for Bon Jovi, i am neutural on the ticket prices and am keeping and open mind.
HI

Nothing against you .I did mis read what you wrote .I apologies for that.

In saying that i don't think any entertainer is worth 300 buks a seat, I dont care who they are. Some people need to work 2 days for that kind of money.

If you're neutral on those ticket prices and your keeping an open mind well 1300 buks shouldn't be a problem for you.Or are you keeping an open mind about that as well??

People are whinging about tickets because they are expensive.

Who else is charging 300 buks in a stadium for an oz tour?

You think bj ticket prices are normal for this tour do you?

Unbelievable.
