And here I go: SHOOT! Knowing Deep Purple but not their mastermind by name? But on the other hand, they're not a boy band of pretty faces, the music is what matters here. By the way, they did have two other guitar players in their history, the current one is Steve Morse, totally different style, a real string-wizzard and a nice guy, but I prefer always Mr. Blackmore. You know his other band, which he formed after he left Deep Purple for the first time back in 1975? It's called "Rainbow", go check 'em out (first three albums are the classic ones, they later turned more and more into a pop group when Joe Lynn Turner joined on microphone - who in 1990 took the job of lead singer in Deep Purple, too, but for one album only).
