He probably was, but since he's literally attacked about everyone here in the last year for not being such a good fan as he is and for not kissing up to Jon, it doesn't really make a difference.

If discussions mean that always same guys spit on the band for the last 10 years and spread negativity then this forum is useless. Not single one positive thing about work of the band since 2009. I dont mind for your negativity just like you dont have to mind for me being nagative towards you.

Second, music has different purposes for different people - some are amateur musicians themselves, some are concert geeks (like me), some just have more trained ears that cannot tolerate songs being butchered. You don't get to decide that music can only exist "for joy and not for deconstruction". And this goes to any other form of entertainment - movies, video games, sports - some people take it more seriously than others.

Third, "no band stay the same over the years" argument would have been valid until 2013 - when they were definitely sounding different from themselves in the 80s and 90s (much like most other bands from those eras that are around today) but were still fairly good. The argument stopped having any validity once Jon stopped singing in key.

Fourth, and most importantly (honestly, feel free to ignore the previous questions and you don't need to reply, but maybe just answer this to yourself), why the hell are you so bothered by a dude on a discussion board not liking recent performances of the band you love? I don't like modern-day Bon Jovi as a live act. In contrast, I like plenty of current pop artists as live acts - e.g. Bruno Mars, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson - which I'm sure many fellow Bon Jovi fans here don't care for or think they suck. But I have my own reasons for liking their performances and other opinions don't matter to me. Why does it matter to you?
Like I said to your pal here,I dont mind for you been negative about band but to read only negative stuff about the band since 2009 and before and spit on everything gives me right to be negative against you,I dont get upset at all,my opinion about band is same since I started to listen them. They go slowly down I am ok with that but for one fan to use words that are disrespecful and offending towards band you love,I find that very shallow, but that my opinion, enjoy yourself.

I liked the Circle, thought WAN's production was terrible but the songs weren't bad, felt like it was rushed. I like starting discussions and if you have a look back most of my opinions are positive. The problem is you come in trying to stifle anyone saying anything you deem negative. Feeling negative about a project is something everyone has a right to feel, just like they have every right to like something. To say no one has said anything positive since 2009 proves my point completely.

When I said no one said anything positive you know who are they?
Maybe you were mostly positive but you also choose very strong words to describe work of the band. But to be constantly negative for 10+ years(not you),you must admit it is silly at least. No one said they are superb band but they are not bad also, even this tour proves that with numbers. I was at Klagenfurt show,he struggles, yes,at moment good sing then moments of bad but show overall was great, even Phil X calls it one of the best show of the tour. They are fade away slowly and for sure. Every album has good stuff, even WAN but most of that album is average,I agree with that. I express my opinion about band and opinions others about band,I dont push someone to change opinion, after all like many said here,it is discussion forum but even discussion must have some limits and rules about theme of discussion. I love a lot of bands and a lot of them are now average and different like BJ too but I have respect for all those years of their creation and I never would call them turd, garbage, karaoke singer, fake, shit and other nice names I read here daily specialy about our(supposed)favorite band.
Like I said,do it but I will do it mine and we will discussus about it.

That Bed of Roses is the creepiest shit I've seen from Bon Jovi. The shit singing, weird faces he has to make and the 20 year old girls make for some really depressing sight.
