Worse than Rio 2013 with 1) shitty vocals (although much better than now), 2) awful drumming by Rich Scannella and 3) an indifferent Jon with no motivation to put on a show at all?

I don't think so. Obviously Jon's voice is absolutely horrific, but the energy and atmosphere is way better. Quite to my surprise, I honestly enjoyed most of the show (bar the vocals)!

Can we say it's a fact now? It's only bearable when you're there in person. Forget about enjoying the bootlegs.

I tried to watch it, but had to turn it off after three songs. Yeah, he's energetic and looks happy (who wouldn't if you earn this amount of money for the shows), but with clean SBD audio, it's unbearable.
I love this band to death, pretty much everything from their first 30 years and I'll always cherish that and hope for one or two gems on future albums, but I'm not gonna spend my time listening to a singer who can do everything but sing anymore.
In some sad way, Jon reminds me of a comedian who does everything in his power to entertain the audience, uses every trick there is, but fails to deliver every time he reaches the punch line.

"Wow! Jon is on fire!!"

No...

Jon should be set on fire and thrown onto the top of the rock and roll dumpster fire of hell.

He's finished. The only reason he dances around and flashes his fake smile so much is because he's trying to cover up for the fact that 50% of his weaponry is destroyed. So he falls back on the showmanship which comes across as desperate now. He was creeping around the stage making wild hand gestures and it didn't look like he knew what he would do next and not in a good spontaneous way but a "oh no that man needs his meds" way.

The second dance with the girl during BOR was the first time I've properly cringed while watching a Bon Jovi show. Jon tried to make it romantic but it just looked like a young girl dancing sympathetically with her deranged grandfather.

The only saving grace was another powerful performance by Tico but then even his drums were lower in the mix than bongo mans and for some reason his face wasn't broadcast once.

So all in all a great show.

Watching it now. Jon's more energetic than usual and the band sounds tight as hell. All those rehearsals paid off, his voice is shot. But that's something that's been discussed to hell here, everyone know it, he knows it, the crowd knows it, the band knows it. It is what it is, I understand if some can't accept it, but there's still plenty who can. Other than that major flub on Always Phil was awesome! Tico is always the man! Looking forward to watching it the whole way through in order....

Edit: that right eye is really bothering me!! Wth is wrong??!!

I would rate this concert like regular. Good energy and again there are so much good songs in the catalog that Always wasn’t a really surprise, but I like it! and had so much fun! On the other hand, Phil X can’t fill Sambora’s place; even that Always wasn’t sounding good, it’s like just a wall of noise, no pretty solos, Shanks guitar is too soft, blablabla a mess.
I appreciate that the setlists are better in some way... but still I’m not satisfied!
Hmmmm... I agree about the money, let’s don’t forget a good show is their job.
In the meantime, I’m really surprised I’m still alive after all... hihihih Ha!

My standards must have lowered significantly but I'm enjoying watching the show. Maybe it's because I have no expectations and I had none in Munich earlier this year and I had a great time. Maybe I accept this is the best we can get.
Maybe it's because they seem to be enjoying themselves. I can even stand Shanks, he plays the best solo in ITA.
Jon can't sing properly and I wonder why he let's the whole world know it. One thing is to play your own show and the other is Rio which broadcasted.

It's very refreshing to hear David sing ITA - some of you don't like his voice but I have nothing against it plus it's amazing not to hear the singer strugling. I think he nails it with ease. Definitely highlight of the show for me.

I guess you did lower them. I remember very vividly when, during the Circle promo era, I said that I enjoyed the performance of Superman Tonight and you replied: "How could you like something that is sung that bad?"
