Some fans feel sorry for Jon but it's him who can't stop and pushes himself to the limits. What's his driving force? Ego? Pride? Money? Bad advisers? Fear?
They're about to release another album. And what's next? Touring again?
And another unpopular opinion: not a fan of Dave's vocals, sorry.

Dave's vocals are terrible... I'd take Jon's current voice over Dave's best vocal any day. I still think, however it's a good move to let Dave take a song like In These Arms. Or an old classic like Only Lonely....
The thing that baffles me the most about Jon's voice is why he can't get the words out?
So yes, Jon's best days as a YouTube and Bootleg sensation are done...
His tone is still there so studio albums shouldn't be an issue.
I'd still suggest going to see them live when they come around every couple of years...
The Band is amazing, Jon's still a star and has stage presence as a front-man, and not all songs are terrible when you're there in person... Obviously the more vocal demanding songs will stand out more but the big rock anthems like Its My Life do just fine in a live setting..
Listening to the show is painful but watching it while listening to it definitely eases the pain..
