What argument? Besides, Metallica plays in like one week from now so they won't even meet.

Probably the helicopter incident from 1987´s Monsters of Rock.

In his enthusiasm Jon went up to Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield (Metallica) back stage with the words: "Let's jam together, we'll do 'We're an American Band' from Grand Funk Railroad." But instead of a friendly answer the New Jersey cowboy got yelled at. Later he found out why. To enjoy the view of some many metalheads the Bon Jovi's had circled above the stadium for minutes in helicopters. Metallica, the band that was playing at the time, didn't really appreciate the constant noise, to say the least.

They´re probably over it by now. Don´t think they´re as bitter as Dave Mustaine is.

Jon actually talks about that whole incident in the Q magazine interview. Jon hopes that James is over it by now, lol!

You've posted that 6 times now, how about shoving your head up your own arse and chewing on your colon?

It gets on my tits so much, when people sign up just to ask for something, or try to sell/buy/swap something.

What magazine is this from? I remember reading an interview with Jon where he mentioned it but I think Metallica had a problem with pop-metal in general and as Bon Jovi were the main exponent of the genre, they wouldn't want to be associated with them. Die Hetfield ever say something about the incident? Or did any of the Metallica guys ?
