No, there guitarist doesn’t always play it note by note and 100% identically but he poured the same soul in it that Richie does (or did) and made it spectacular that way. No, I’m not happy with Richie being replaced but with a band that delivers as hard as they did I don’t feel the need to let them down.
Any who knows the odds? Maybe the King of Swing will be back in 4 weeks (I know the chances are rather slim). Anyway, I’m looking forward to it!!!

What a great review! Thanks, I highly enjoyed reading that. From seeing your pictures I could've sworn I stood in front of you, but since you were in GA and I was in the 2nd GC probably not. But I had a couple of guys behind me singing their hearts out.
I don't agree about DC though. It's always a special moment for me. I have heard it in 2011 with Richie and now without him, and even though I did miss him a lot, that song alone, the sound of the keyboards in the intro, never fails to give me shivers. It did probably help that we listened to the Milton Keynes version from 1993 on our way to Munich to build up anticipation for it.
I totally agree with what you said about the concert in general, though. So far I don't have tickets for another show and said I won't get them unless Richie somes back. If I had tickets, I would definitely go to my 2nd show this tour - the band worked their asses off and I left the stadium totally fulfilled (concerning the circumstances). But now I'm even considering getting additional tickets for Stuttgart, if the setlists keep getting interesting.
