Default Ronan Keating support in Europe?

Hello there,

Ronan Keating should have said in an interview in Switzerland that BJ invited him to be the support band during the BJ European tour.

Here is the link where it stands:

God I hope this is a joke. I mean he's not the worst pop act around today but i could probably name about 34529122 artists I'd rather see open the show - and one of them is me strumming an acoustic guitar.

Support bands are usually supposed to warm you up for the main act - not put you to sleep for the guys come on.

I know that Ronan Keating is a huge Bon Jovi fan, although I doubt it'll be for the UK gigs as RK can fill an arena on his own, he's pretty successful. Don't know what his success is like in the other European countries tho. I wouldn't mind too much seeing him perform, at least i'd know some of the songs.

LOL, well said. Even though last year the Stereophonics nearly put me into sleep, too.

I'd like to see RK as opening act for Bon Jovi. On all the pop acts out there, he's one of the most talented IMO, I'd like to see him perform...

On the OWN tour, they had Melanie C open for Sweden, and she was way better (more rock) than I thought. Altho Bon Jovi had complaints about her, as they thought she was too pop for them... I think Ronan goes in the same category as Mel C, so I don't know if it will happen, tho...

Thatīs not too bad. Think if it was Justin Timberlake!?! I hate the guy. He and his woman-ish voice. I also think that Nick Carter could fit as a opening act. He plays the same kind of music as BJ does(when heīs doing his solo). I like the guy.

None of them fit in my opinion. The avarage age of people at a BJ concerts is twice as old or even older than the audience of these boyband guys. It absolutely doesn't fit together.
