Very hard to tell but it sounds like it might have been 'How Do You Sleep?' which would answer the missing Orianthi song.

The final encore was Purple Rain. Set was:

BURN THAT CANDLE DOWN
EVERY ROAD LEADS HOME TO YOU
TAKING A CHANCE ON THE WIND
BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER/I'LL BE THERE FOR YOU
NOWADAYS
????? (AN ORIANTHI SONG)
WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE
VOODOO CHILD
STRANGER IN THIS TOWN
LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME
SEVEN YEARS GONE
LIVIN ON A PRAYER

DONT CHANGE (WITH TIM FARRISS ON DRUMS)
IS MY LIFE
THESE DAYS

PURPLE RAIN

I filmed all of Purple Rain, not sure of the quality from my phone though.
Very cool.

Just got home. One of the best gigs I've been to.

Review tomorrow

Judging by a few of Richie's comments tonight, a Bon Jovi reunion seems a world away....

But, treating his solo show for what it is, it was a very enjoyable night. The crowd were very receptive of all songs with the energy only seeming to be zapped when Orianthi took lead vocals.

Whilst the Bon Jovi songs got the predictable enthusiastic reactions, it was surprising just how well versed the audience was with the aftermath songs. "Don't change" and "Purple rain" were also greatly received, with Richie saying it was the first time he had performed the latter, with people begging him to for "20 years".

I just got home from the concert and am still buzzing. This was an amazing show in every aspect. RS and his band were on fire all night. Orianthi was great and while I had my doubts about their collaboration I was proved wrong. They were a great team and Orianthi brought an interesting dynamic to the show. I loved their off the cuff guitar playing through the entire show.

Loved the INXS touch. Given all the press INXS have received over the past week this went off.

RS's playing was incredible. I only wish he would stick to the verse and not deviate too much from it in terms of timing. He should have used Orianthi for the harmonies and backups in I'll be There for You and Wanted.

I saw the last RS tour in Sydney sometime around 1997 in support of Undiscovered Soul. Tonight's concert was superior in every aspect.

Overall I would rate it a 9/10.

That's nice to read. Glad you enjoyed it. What was the crowd like? Sold out?
