However there are plenty of decent shots from the BB tour to use and almost everyone attending this show is aware of Jon's 2016 image...

Default RT Concert with JBJ in Dublin July 21-23 2016

Jbj has seen a million faces and rocked them all......it's time to give something back to those people who bought every album and seen them on every tour.
But no....it's an insulting amount to go and see him close up and he can't sing as well as he used to. But, there's some people will pay anything and clearly have. Good luck to them but I'd never pay that kind of money. Until people stop going he will continue to do it.
I think it all looks a bit "end of career-ish" but that maybe just me
Does JBJ want what's left of me?

I long for the day someone has the balls to get on the mic during one of these Q&As and ask him why he charges such outrageous prices for these things.

Haha, fair enough!

I'm guessing these overpriced events are a way to keep the "platinum" fans happy. Jon definitely doesn't need the money but he's clever enough to keep the cash cow turning over some kind of profit every so often.

I feel sorry for the fans out there that genuinely want to go to it but can't afford it. It must sting a little.

The prices are too high for my point of view, too.

But, what about the other artists? For example, how much is the price for a Bruce 100-200 person show? Other artists? Is Jon the bad guy or do everyone charge like that?

Sadly I doubt anyone who pays this kind of money to go to a show like this is willing to see Jon in anything but the most glowing terms. I'd love to ask him how he can justify screwing his fans with these extortionate prices but I wouldn't pay $1,500 for the opportunity to ask him!

For one thing there is no official Bruce fanclub - so there are no shows for 100 to 200 people. Bruce does shows for charity of that size but those are usually not open to the public. In the rare cases that I know of - when Bruce has done a small show (Storytellers on TV) or the Carousel video for The Promise - numbers have been drawn and people went for free.

Devil's advocate time: They're setting the prices and people are willing to pay. The argument can be made that it's too expensive but it limits the ones who can go. Does it need to be that much? Nope.
