Nah that wasn't us....we were a little bit closer to the stage than that (and we were dead center with the stage).......But we weren't far away from them at all!!

Also I thought that the performance that BJ put in was great.....because Jon and the guys put in so much energy in2 it!!!!

Also one song I forgot to mention before that was played was I'll sleep when i'm dead.....

It was a huge suprise 2 me that they played it.....but it was cool 2 hear!

If they come back here, I would love to hear The hardest part is the night, Always run to you, and Bed of roses live!!!

Even Always would be good too!

Dan, you missed Sleep When I'm Dead, they played that in the set too.

OMG, what a show!!! Bon Jovi were SOOOOOO far ahead of the rest it wasn't funny, though Pink was great in her own rite. She played just before the boys.

Yeah, we were outside the stadium in line to get in, when you could clearly hear the boys playing a few tunes inside.

From what I recall, they played Undivided, The Distance, Misunderstood, Bounce, Keep The Faith, Wanted Dead Or Alive, that was 11 hours before they were due to actually play! It helped pass the time in line, I tell you!

For the most part, it was a very enthusiastic, but not very knowledgable (about BJ) crowd of about 40000, mainly teens, being a pop festival and all. Bon Jovi simply blew the crowd away in the 50 minutes they had alloted to them.

A nice touch to the festival was, before the penultimate act (Pink), Jon and Richie were asked to come out on stage and judge a 'Wannabe Bon Jovi' contest that the radio station that was supporting the festival had been running in the weeks leading up to the event. The three finalists had to sing part of a Jovi song of their choosing and the best one won a trip to Tokyo to see the boys play live! The woman who won sung Livin On A Prayer and I only think she won because the whole crowd sang with her and when it came time for Jon and Richie to decide, they simply put it to the crowd who overwhemingly said Prayer. Anyway, it was another glimpse of the boys that I didn't expect so I was happy!

BTW, thanks to Rosscoe and Dan. We had an enduring, but eventually an excellent night and I'm glad we finally got to meet! Cheers.

I went last night and i agree with everybody else Bon Jovi ROCKED!!!!!
they were by far the best act and put on the best performance there too bad it was way too short.
It was good to see they opened with bounce but they should have had a couple more songs from bounce like undivided and hook me up maybe if the stupid organisers let them have more time they would have.

Well i finally made the pilgrimage to my first Bon Jovi concert, and i was expecting nothing less than a show that would change my life, and boy did they deliver.
Dan, Christo and I were there for a total of 14 hours. Having to wait through all of the other bands, which were good, but really nothing compared to Bon Jovi. I had already had a hoarse voice that day, and singing along with Shaggy, Taxiride and a few others, I didn't think I had much left in the tanks for Bon Jovi, despite holding back.
Pink had performed just before, and I had most of my view blocked by 2 or 3 tall guys and I couldn't see much between them, and there was little room to move between the thousands of sweaty people. By this stage i was tired, had smoke in my eyes from some inconsiderate smoker, and standing side by side with fellow Bon Jovi fans.
Then when Bon Jovi came on, the whole croud went errupted in a sea of screams and waving hands. Undoubtedly the most energy packed experience of my life, to date.
Song after song they played, each one as great as the next. Throughout their set I was jumping, screaming, cheering, sweating, and just letting loose like I had never done before.
On the train home, the carriges were packed with screaming Bon Jovi fans who still had energy to let loose. While Dan and I just stood and just listened and talked about what we had just gone through.
It was just an awsome experiece that I will never allow myself to forget. For once I got the pictures to show for it.
Now it is the morning after the concert. My voice is in a bad shape but I am rested up. And now I have learned that Bon Jovi are coming back to do a proper show. I can feel the excitement swelling up in me now.
God how I love this feeling. God how I love Bon Jovi.

While your waiting for the hammer to hammer to fall

Hey everyone,
Rosscoe and I got our photo's back!!

Unfortunantly the photo's of the band didn't turn out too well....b/c the lighting wasn't good enough.....but we did savour some photo's of the wreck.....so u will all be able to see what we really look like soon + hopefully we will put some of the OK photo's of the band up.

Till then
