Can't see how they could support Jovi and then do a headline gig of their own as well (no spring chickens anymore!)

Its a no brainer for me : Do i go and see a band I haven't seen since 1992 or go see Jovi for the gazillionth time play their greatest hits.

Would be fitting for Jovi to have them on as opener, just like they did back in '87, but can't see it happening. Tickets for the Cinderella show say its an 8.30pm show start time. They would need to be on site at Sheps Bush at 7.30pm by the latest I imagine which means playing around 4-5pm at Hyde Park. And thats without a tiredness factor. Would Tom's voice cope? Don't know what its like these days?
All day festival at Hyde Park so they could do a shorter set and scoot down the road to Shepherds Bush, but it's not really practical.

It's not even into a rumour level yet but more some made up *fans* fictions

Most of the time openers are actually very seriously 'measured' business deals with interests from both sides for both bands etc ---in this situation it seems there is no possible or realistic arrangements between those 2 bands

Jon should make the "Jovifest" tour and include his favorite artists:

Guns N' Roses
The Darkness
Robbie Williams
Oasis

Best regards,
the Sexx

That is true for the Jovi tour, but the Hyde Park date is a one-off festival and the lineup is not decided by BJ, hence we would get some different bands.

Unless they did try to consult the band on the lineup, and we could get a lineup including acts along the lines of Billy Falcon, Lorenza Ponce, Sugarland, All American Rejects, Bon Jovi.

Ok you are right here ..to have cinderella being part of the bill in hyde park is maybe possible as it is not a jovi show

lol I had to laugh at your line up .... I think the band and Jon enjoy to have totally unknown openers ...young people new in the business

Default tour

first tour ive misssed since 1986!!!!!

loved the 3 O2 shows I went to but Jovi + Hits + A field just wasn't doing it for me this year and now im delighted that the decision has paid off as I get to see Cinderella instead, a band I haven't seen since the Heartbreak Station tour, was that '91?
Think Slaughter supported them (who were terrible by the way!)

thank goodness in greece there's been going on a contest for some new band to open the show, so (even if it's a rumour) I won't have to worry about cinderella being the support act. hideous
