If he granted permission for Bon Jovi to play you can bet it would be when the Yankees were on a road trip to allow plenty of time to restore the field back to normal. And if the field wasn't in perfect condition upon their return I can pretty much guarantee he would never allow another concert there again. P.S. It was Boston's first since 1918 not 1917..... they still have a loooooong way to go to reach my Yanks 26 Series wins!

Lizz - I'm also a long time Yankees fan - way back to the early 60's and Maris and Mantle. I know haw everyone feels about post season. I just think the combination of events was rather ironic. I also have a problem with George
 And of course you're right about 1918 - don't know how I typed that LOL Kathleen

Cool you are a long time Yankee fan..love that... . I was born one .. I think my parents would have dis-owned me had I not loved the Yanks LOL. I am counting the minutes til Opening Day!
Hmmm.. maybe we should point out to George that when Bruce played Fenway the Red Sox won the WS that year. Coincidence? Maybe if BJ played Yankee Stadium we could finally get #27.... convince him a concert might bring us a little extra luck. I mean it has been five long years since a WS win... we are spoiled but I want another one this frieken year dammit!! A nice little pic of JBJ rocking the interlocking N Y ....Enjoy!
