Yeah the same for me. I have always some money on the bank, but a tour account ? When Bon Jovi starts touring I'll work a week or 3 and I'll have enough money to buy tickets for 8 concerts. When you buy the tickets it's that far away that in the time between when tickets go on sale and when the concert actually is I work for the way to them.

And the next tour will probably in 2005, if you start saving right now then you're really obsessed.

Saving for the next tour...Geez.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
Why obsessive? With kids and a house and 2 cars there`s always money needed. So, if I don`t save, money will be going to a washingmachine or a car or holidays.
Doing a tour with 3 persons, flying all over europe and stayin in hotels, we will eed a lot of money( read: I will need alot of money) so why not being prepqared???

Well yes that's true. But I assume you're not gonna pay the tickets for your kids, just like you're not gonna pay for the hotelroom etc.

I'm not saying there's something wrong with being prepared, but saving money for a tour that will start over 2 years...

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

So no saving for your holiday next year??
Well, that kind of ties in with the 'now' I was refering to. Well, at least I know when I want to do the trip timewise, whereas nobody can say for sure when the next tour is going to be exactly.

I've got to start saving; I need a car, too by then And my parent's won't get me a car until i'm going off to college - and since i'm going to go to college AFTER the tour, i'm going to need something to transport me and friends to the concert (unless they get one, of course :P ).

And i need to start saving now, because i am HORRENDOUS with saving money (very little self control )! And a tour account is exactly what i was going to do - because if i save it with my regular account, that'll get mixed up with my car money - and i also just need to be so sure that i have the money for the tour and car

I'm getting good at it. Then, out of nowhere, my brother gets a crazy idea to travel 800 kms into the next state for a football final!! Travel + ticket + extras = a bloody lot of money spent for a 24 hour period. And that is only half of this weekend! I don't think I'll go though, I can watch it live on TV after all.

It always starts at the same point: we are tpaying together...it ends at the point: I am paying most....at least a big part of the hotels and the flights and some tix so yes, sorry I am a too much of a giving mum.

Anyone gonna join me?
Vienna was awesome - the place, the ppl, the atmosphere!!!!

+ I guess it'd be daft to miss Munich. Or any UK shows on my part. Amsterdam will be a no miss show as well (& Mannheim if they play there again).
