Default Scottish fans' opinion - Edinburgh 2011

Im Italian fans, I would go to see this show:

June 22, Scotland, Edinburgh, Murrayfield Stadium - Capacity: 68,000

I would like an opinion on the environment in concerts in Scotland, though the concerts precent in Hampden Park have been sold out? and if the Scottish public sings the song ...

This show promises to sell out? In Scotland there are many fans of Bon Jovi?

Thanks

Hi mate.

The concerts in Scotland never usually sell out or if they do, it's much closer to the date and Murrayfield is quick a bit bigger than Hampden capacity wise.

Take That are doing 3 shows in Glasgow at the same time (hence why Jovi are in Murrayfield) so tickets won't sell for Jovi as quickly either imo.

Murrayfield is actually a pretty good stadium for gigs. I'd take it over Hampden or Ibrox any day. You can spend the day in Edinburgh and then walk to it in 15-20 minutes. There's some nice pubs and restaurants nearby etc...

Fans will definitely be singing along and the only real difference you might notice is there'll probably be a lot more drinking going on than English shows.

Fair assesment. Really looking forward to it as its my first gig at Murrayfield and also my first in the golden cirlce. I'm just worried a bit about the ticket sales with the aforementioned Take That concert taking place. Hop BJ don't get the hump at a half empty stadium and play a crap set. Or worse - don't come back.

Went to see the Chilli's at Murrayfield. Great stadium and atmosphere. And the Scottish fans have always been great for the band.

Only show I've booked so far so...let it rock

Went to see Bryan Adams at Murrayfield in 2007 (I think) and it was the best show I've been to. The crowd were mental despite the p*ssing rain!

I think the Murrayfield gig is going to be awesome, everyone will be singing there songs. I dont think it will make a difference if Take That are playin on the same night, different sets of fans, u cannot like Take That and Bon Jovi!!

I do lol. Just not in the same leagues though. I would have bought a Take That ticket for their other night if I didn't spend what I had on Jovi tickets.

Both are housewives favourites

In fact my usual Jovi going crowd has pretty much been split into the girls are going to TT and the guys are going to Jovi (with my mum in tow, she preferred East 17 )

Have been to 3 gigs in Scotland and the crowds have always been on top form, especially the last scottish gig at the lost highway tour, i think that had the best atmosphere out of the other scottish gigs in Bounce + HAND tours, tho was front row at HAND tour and that was jus awesome!! usually dnt have to queue up too early to get at the front neither - went about 12 preious times and got at the front! Have my flag at the ready!!
