Unfortunately, money talks for good seats at US shows. Its sad that people who probably don't care too much for the band are able to get the best seats just because of their name. I hope to one day see a show in Europe. Two things I do like about the floor seating is that I don't get claustrophobic and I won't lose my place if I have to go to the restroom. I have seen other bands where there wasn't seating and I always ended up feeling lightheaded and had to get out of the chaos for a while. And I was sick of people trying to crawl up my back. The last show I saw that was general admission/no floor seating was Pearl Jam at Soldiers Field in Chicago. I think that was in 1994 or 1995. So I don't know if other bands allow it or if extra security measures have been taken by the venues in the last 10 years. I still have a blast at Bon Jovi shows here. No one really ever sits in their seats. Even in the upper levels people are on their feet through the whole show.

So if you see a show in the US I hope you enjoy it!!
