There are still a couple of places that I thought might get second shows, but as more time passes since the initial public sale, I think the chances decrease. Based on what I've seen posted by people that know more than the average fan, I wouldn't expect any additional shows to be announced in North American cities that don't already have a show. For whatever reason, this arena leg is skipping some whole regions that usually get shows.

Another show in NY would really surprise me. There's no room in the schedule to put another show with the existing shows, and it seems unlikely that they'd haul everything back there for a third time.

i was thinking that this plan has a logistically realistic base since their stadium stage set up will be in australia in late september, so a s.african-middle east-asian leg is possible along with jons statement that this tour will visit 50 maybe 55 countries...(by this point only 30 have been confirmed)
i know that the guys sometimes are not so accurate and no every statement should be taken for granted but a big world tour with stops in new or "forgotten"places by the band will help them sustain a fan base and reach new audiences.

there is some space after the third show in msg, march 6-7 are free but if they add a fourth date this would mean they will have to play 3 shows in 3 days, sth rare but also sth they ve done in the past with bigger distances between the shows.
another thought, do you think they will plan sth special, a free concert for example in a special venue if they are inducted in the hof? i am sure there will be some celebration since it seems to be a big deal for them.

well lately the band announcements are not done to be informative but to be impressive .. they don't really care about being accurate or not ... it's a way of putting the band under great impressive lights ...I don't think they will tour 50 countries ...nor they have actually don't 26 000 shows or even they have sold for real 130 millions of cds nor that there were 500 000 ppl in time square watching the kick off of the nfl season in 2002 those numbers they are so found of are not realistic most of the time

but the gap between the usa canada shows and europe make me thing they may have a few shows in there

In addition to the fact that they VERY rarely play 3 nights in a row anymore, Madison Square Garden isn't available on March 6 and 7.

They will add another leg before Europe including Singapore, Abu Dhabi and the likes. There's more serious talk about including India and Taiwan as well so who knows what will happen.

Salaam Aleikum,

i didnt know that msg wasnt available...it seems it wont be a 4th date in new york after all.
their announcements and press releases may not be accurate most of the time but its understandable they want to impress and highlight their success, its sth that all the big bands out there do repeativelly.
they have given 2.600 shows, the 26.000 was a mistake in the today show...
i also want to believe that jon would nt make a mistake like that "50-55 countries" since they are in the proccess of planning the next legs of the tour and his maths are more accurate than richies often early optimistic statements.
