They must have known that there was a chance the second gig would also be cancelled. But if THEY cancelled it, THEY would have had to return whatever they were paid up front -- so they HAD to show up! Since the government forced the cancellation, I think they only have to return half.

if the government cancel for sure the band don't lose all the money (it's not their call) so their insurances will pay but they did had to show up there
all this is so weird - it's quite bad karma happening to them for a while now ....
during typhoon time the flights are canceled (apparently more than music concerts ) so they seem to be stuck there as long as the flights are not authorized - next gig is still ahead as they were supposed to have their second gig TOMORROW NIGHT (local) it's not like they have to leave now - they can leave on wednesday mid day as probably planned
