Best not to get too excited... even IF some rare songs are played they will be murdered. Jon is struggling to sing the simple stuff and looks uncomfortable at the mic. I hope for a good show but my head is telling me it will be difficult to see and hear. This incarnation of Bon Jovi is about as far away from what I have enjoyed over the years as you can get.

Phil X tweeted he thinks this will be it for this year and he thinks BJ will play in Europe in 2018... interesting. If it's a farewell tour (or a longer hiatus), then it'd make sense to play in Europe once again.

I think he's assuming what may come up in the same way that we do because nothing seems to be finalized yet. In the springtime he had also tweeted that he thinks another US leg will be done in the fall. Didn't happen either. To be honest I don't think Jon knows at this moment if they're gonna tour next year or not.

The band seems to be more 'spontaneous' than ever! It's not album-tour-album-tour routine anymore. It's still pretty solid, though...(well, minus the bitchin' folks who claimed Jon and the boyz really could get on that damn plane earlier lol or make up for the cancelled gigs).

This will be a terrible set and even worse performance, as usual with leg begginings. Fingers crossed for people going to the Buenos Aires one though.

Yup, Jon still sounds like ass. His current whispery "technique" really puts me off, as while he sings every note on pitch, his tone is unbearable to listen to - so thin and weak it's pathetic. He can't even shout while speaking anymore... and a whispered "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?????" doesn't really sound convincing.

But, it's a soundcheck so he shouldn't be shouting or going full voice. I get the complaints believe me but not for soundcheck.

Not really the thread to debate it but interesting that Phil said Australia was planned but there were 'economic' reasons it didn't happen. I wonder if they are the same reasons the second US leg didn't materialise... let's face it this tour is looking like it'll be tiny next to the last 20 or even 30 years.

Anyway, hopefully we get something different tonight - first stadium show so maybe they'll pick up the pace a bit? I can dream...
