This. Especially back in 2010 when he could've still pulled it off with ease.

It's weird, but it's not photoshop

Here in Brazil we have soccer games almost everyday in the week. For example, there was a game on this stadium in 16th of september. It's not photoshop, the stage was really there, with the game going on.

here's a video of a few minutes of the game, you can see the stage already there in the firsts seconds:

Yes, for sure. But even now...it's just sing the first "Should I" and it's done. The crowd certainly would take this alone.

Imagine Jon singing Misunderstood nowadays...

First, the chorus:

"HAYYY-AY-AY-AY-AYYYEEE should have drove all night, I would have run all the lights, I was misunderstood. HAYYY-AY-AY-AY-YYYEEE stumbled like my words, did the best I could - (whispering) dae-hae-haeeem, misunderstood...".

Then the second verse:

"Could HAYYYEEE? Should HAYYYEEE apologize for sleeping on the couch that NIIIEEEGHT, staying out too late with all my friends? You found me passed out in the yard (a deep breath - then whispering) agaa-hee-in. You CRIIIEEED, HAYYYEEE TRIIIEEED to stretch the truth but didn't lie. It's (shouting - breathing quickly between words) NOT! SO! (whispering) baa-ha-haad (voice cracks miserably near the end of the phrase), when you think (over-articulating) about... it...".

haha...it's because I work in an american company. When I talk about this with them, I have to use soccer instead football, avoiding any confusion with the USA Football.

It was just a language addiction

hahahahaha...That's why I said he should sing just the first phrase, and let the crowd do the rest.
