Rubbish. Aerosmith plays lots of old stuff nobody knows, but delivers it with so much passion that it gets the crowd going anyway. Same for many artists. The argument of people wanting to hear known stuff doesn't make any sense. If 50% of a show is greatest hits, it should be enough. It works for most artists anyway.

face it, very few people want to hear the rare stuff live, of course the die hard fans do but other than that, its normal for them to play the hits to please 90% of the crowd. and the only one band that i've ever seen change setlist 100% every night is dave matthews band. they really change it, other than that....yeah aerosmith plays alot of old stuff, cause their new stuff sucks....and yes old jovi fans think jovi's new stuff sucks also but there are alot of new fans that really like it. so even if id like to see them changing it up or play rarities. im fine with the fact that dont, so are most people.
