uhm.

I thought I'd just count some.
Giants 05 night 1. 22 songs played, of which 12 hits.
Giants 05 night 2. 26 songs played, of which 14 hits.
Munich 05. 29 songs played, of which 15 hits.
Hydepark 05. 27 songs played, of which 14 hits.

This seems like a little above 50 % to me, I don't know how good your math is...
Anyway, I think you're overreacting a little bit. I too think that BJ needs to play a little bit more old/rare stuff, but they shouldn't overdo it. For an optimal show for both fans and people new to BJ, I think they should play:
About 45 % hits, 20-25 & new songs, 15 % rocking little lesser known songs (wild in the streets, raise your hands, I Believe, Blood on Blood), 10 % rare rocksongs and maybe one or two unknown slower songs. They should then change up the last three categories so it stays fresh.

You're right about the enthousiasm part though. I just saw the I believe video again and I miss that power.
