And regarding the "Riff ROck": I cannot find a single BJ album with riff Rock on it. If you want this buy a ACDC cd
I meant mainstream as radio-friendly poprock songs, maybe I've used incorrect terminilogy but we both know what the subject matter is

If the band keeps on producing albums like The Circle, it will be fine, even if I'm not completely satisfied with it, but I think they are not capable of making a better album now. My only wish is to stay in the borders of rock music (quite wide, isn't it?) with no (commercial) influences from other genres, especially the crappy ones.

I'm not looking for riff rock that's what Jon was talking about

Do you really think it's bad it hasn't sold well? I think that big sales have nothing to do with music being great nowadays. Just look at the charts. Who's on top? Do you really think that those 'artists' really deserve to be there? To sell so many albums? Do you think that their music is any better than BJ? I don't think so. This album is great, lyrics are mature and have a deeper meaning. I think that in about 5-10 years from now we will think of this album like we do about KTF or TD now.

Well no way in the same league like TD (I do not consider Faith too strong though) but the band cares how well it sells especially Jon and even more the record company. Anyone who thinks that music is recorded to be "artistic" only is a hopeless romantic

For me it is the same league. Of course Jon cares if it sells well. That’s one of the ways he earns money. I say ‘one of the ways’ as we all know that big money is on tour. But I am really sure that he cares more if anyone will stop for a second and will think about his life for a moment after listening to this album. Think about what’s important and what’s not in this world. And I am not a hopeless romantic, believe me. It’s just that someone has to write important stuff. But it’s obvious it won’t sell good, especially for younger generation. They prefer lyrics like “Rude boy, can you get it up…”. That sells well. Just like good news don’t sell on everyday World News. Only bad news, intrigues, wars, death, corruption, sex and stuff like that sells well. You can barely find something worth listening that sells well. Something positive. That’s why I think that TC is an important album, it really means something. People just need more time to appreciate its real value.

Well, it is bad when it comes down to the songs off the album being played live. Why do you think songs off of These Days and Bounce are hardly played, while there are still 3-4 songs played off of Lost Highway every night? I love The Circle and would like to continue to be able to hear the songs live, which I doubt will happen once this tour ends. Follow will probably be played quite regularly on the next tour, but that's one of the weakest songs on the album anyway.

And WGIGO works live. If you disagree, you're just in denial. It goes over better than half of their big singles, like BTBMB. I don't like that song either... for the record, but it's true.

Im with you on this, its just a fun song with a good beat and infectious chorus that gets everybody on their feet
