Default Setlist predictions

I'm studying the setlists from the new tour. Well I think there is a pattern in it. There will be a maximum of 2 ballads in each show.

Ballads will be descided in this way

Joey or Right Side Of Wrong -> They won't play both.
Always or Bed Of Roses or All About Loving You -> Because AALY is the new single. They might skip Joey and Right Side Of The Wrong for Bed Of Roses or an other ballad.

The beginning of the setlist will be:

01. Bounce
02. You Give Love A Bad Name
03. Livin' On A Prayer
04. Runaway (or with a little bit luck also a suprising I Believe instead of that one).
05. Everyday
06. Undivided
07. Born To Be My Baby
08. Older
09. The Distance (could be replaced by Love Me Back To Life also)
10. Misunderstood (this one will be replaced also during the tour because it isn't a good song for a rock show)
11. Joey/Right Side Of The Wrong
12. I'll Be There For You (I personally think this should stay here, but I like the singing part of Jon more)
13. Hook Me Up
14. Wild In The Streets/Wild Is The Wind
15. Keep The Faith/Raise Your Hands
16. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (unfortunately..)
17. Blood On Blood/Wild Is The Wind (despends if they play Wild In The Streets.)
18. Bad Medicine (probably with a cover after it as medley)
19. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
20. It's My Life
21. Captain Crash
22, Wanted Dead Or Alive
23. All About Loving You (because this is the upcoming single)

Other songs that will be played rarely are: These Days, Something To Believe In, Something For The Pain, In These Arms, Twist And Shout, Peppermint Twist, I Got The Girl and a few more songs...

I guess i'm pretty close with my opinion.

I think they will change the setlist as they go, I don't think it will stay the same like this for the whole tour, prayer and it's my life will be thrown around the set for instance and faith also.
I think i believe will become a regular later on, in the european I think. Because that song even gets Hugh rocking (I think...)
Also, In think, they will play some songs from these days again, most likely choices are hey god, something to believe in and these days itself.
Uhm, and I hope they will play some other covers, like free world and with a little help again...

Aloha !

or All About Loving You -> Because AALY is the new single.
I doubt they will play All About Loving You that much. They didn't play Thank You For Loving Me so much on the Crush tour either. And just like TYFLM is a ballad which isn't so great, and they've noticed that by the crowd reactions, I thinl AALY will have the same sort of response from the Crowd. So they'll play it a couply of times, but they'll see that most people don't like it by not knowing the words, and they'll play Bed Of Roses or Always again.[quote]or All About Loving You -> Because AALY is the new single.

Runaway (or with a little bit luck also a suprising I Believe instead of that one).
It would be cool to hear a song like that again. But why always Runaway ? I think that now that they've decided to play Runaway again, one of the real old stuff, they should make the decision to play something from Fahreheit too. In And Out Of Love is cool enough to play, just like Tokyo Road.

Misunderstood (this one will be replaced also during the tour because it isn't a good song for a rock show)
Just like I said, I can't imagine that the crowd will like that song. So just like All About Loving You they'll decide to replace it.

I'll Be There For You (I personally think this should stay here, but I like the singing part of Jon more)
Yep, it's cool to hear Richie sing a song, but this song should be sang by Jon. The harmonies are great in it when Jon sings it, so let Richie sing another song from Bon Jovi. Though I doubt if there are any other songs from Bon Jovi that fit Richie so good as Wanted or IBTFY. And Stranger and Undiscovered Soul were only a succes in Japan, compared to the rest of the sales in the world, so I don't think he'll be singing a song from Stranger.

I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (unfortunately..)
Though I don't hate the song as much as you do, I think we've heard that song enough by now.

These Days, Something To Believe In, Something For The Pain,
About the These Days album. I don't think they'll be playing a lot of songs from it. They wanted to give a positive message by releasing Bounce. These Days isn't really positive. It's also a slow album. And they want the concert to be a real rock concert. Not that I don't want to hear any songs from These Days, no I'd love to hear some songs from it, but I think chances aren't that big. But Jon said it on the Crush and OWN tour too, that they wanted to give an optimistic concert, but they played Hey God, Something For The Pain and Something To Believe In a few times. So I think we'll see Hey God again.

And that gets me to my nex point. Will they be playing Dry County again. I don't think so. First of all it's very hard to sing for Jon, but I don't think that's the biggest problem. I think 'cause of the reason that they want to give an optimistic rock concert, they won't play it. Dry County is a beautiful song and it has become a real epic for us, the real fans. But since the song has lyrics which aren't so optimistic, the band will decide not to play it. But...Instead of that they might be playing Next 100 Years a couple of times. That song is optimistic, and has a great guitar solo too. It isn't so beautiful as Dry County, but I think there's a small chance we might see it a few times on the setlist.

Quote:
...Twist And Shout, Peppermint Twist...
About the covers : I hope they'll decide not to play the same covers over and over again. They took a great step by introducing Peppermint Twist. The song itself isn't that great, but it's fun to hear and to sing along. I like it more than Shout, because I've heard that song more then enough now.

Well, that's about it.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Y'know what else would be a cool but fairly simple change to the set? Switch Sleep When I'm Dead with Blame It On The Love Of Rock 'N' Roll! I know this will never happen, but they are played with virtually the same beat, the choruses are similar and they are both the same kind of fun sounding song. The half fans wouldn't really know SWID anyway, but the die-hards would appreciate the change I think!
