No I prefer outdoor venues. Better atmosphere and general admission. Also there are hardly any bands/artists who play stadiums anymore, we dont want Bon jovi going down the route of arena tours.

Other question: do you think they will be able to do a SOLD OUT stadium tour? Last tour wasn't sold out... I think they have to release a REALLY good album to play sold out shows again...
They sold out the UK tour

Well Springsteen played only stadiums in 2003.
Played to a hell of a lot more people than Bon Jovi.

And this has _what_ to do with anything?

First an arena tour and after that they can do a new stadium tour (a year later or so). In Holland there is also General Admission at Arena shows. I've never seen them in smaller venues (except Shepherds Bush) so I would prefer an arena show.

I can't believe what I read! What the hell are you talking about???????
There's just one place they belong to: STADIUM !!!

In arenas there is no atmosphere, there can only be very few people, it's very expensive, there are mostly seatings (who sits on its butt on a rock show),etc. - fazit: it's just boring!
BJ are one of those very few bands who still sell out stadiums and are still kicking your ass.

By the way, today I wanted to buy tickets for Anastacia (she also performs at an arena) but the show is totally sold out! I couldn't believe that because now it's april and the show is on 30th Oct. - ????
Think about that!

There is atmosphere in arena's, it's just what you prefer. I've been to Eric Clapton, Bryan Adams and Paul McCartney in an arena venue (Ahoy Rotterdam). It depends on the artist himself if he can create an atmosphere you like. Last time I saw Clapton it didn't work, but on his previous show he did very well. Very intimite atmosphere. The same for Bryan Adams and Paul McCartney. When Bon Jovi played Ahoy it was a very very good show.

And compared to stadiums there's just more of both in a stadium. More seating and more seating. So your comment about sitting on your butt doesn't make sense. There's still more seating in a stadium then arena places.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
