I agree with Sebastiaan.

And the sound is also a lot better in Arena's than in stadiums. Less echoing.

There's just one place they belong to: STADIUM !!!!

Agree. Apart from one of shows like bogarta and Sheperds bush which are intimate and create a special atmmosphere. But theres nothing better than hearing 60,000 ppl singing living on a prayer in a stadium, I saw BJ at Wembley arena in 02 and it wasnt the same for me.

It's true that it depends on the band to create an atmosphere but I've been to lots of shows in arenas and they were all boring. If you are at a stadium it's different. Like Neurotica80 wrote it makes a difference if 60,000 people sing or just 10,000.

By the way, isn't it always an interesting question the day before the concert if you don't know if it's going to rain or not?????

Yes, very.

I prefer arenas to stadiums. I think the atmosphere is much better and more intimate as you can see the band. At Hyde Park, I couldnīt see them properly.

Who cares about the rain???????

I prefer stadiums. Somehow I love the atmosphere when there are so many people singing along....the vibes the magic the energy that floates around...wow man that`s so amazing

by the way..in arena`s it`s always too hot!!!!

Arena, no doubt about that. For me the sound is better along with the fact that you can actually see the band without the big screens. I hate Giants Stadium with a passion, but of course I will still go to see my favorites such as Bruce and BJ.

Bon Jovi will never come to Norway anyway.. I dont think they would had sold out the show, even if spektrum in Oslo just takes 8000 people. Their popularity in Norway are really low. Sometimes I think I am the only fan from here

BJ are one of those very few bands who still sell out stadiums and are still kicking your ass.
Probably the best atmosphere I've experianced was in a rock club, maybe about 1,000 people max. Reason being the quality of the show, the peformer, and being around so many people who were 100% into EVERYTHING.

The atmospheres at Bon Jovi concerts, certainly I noticed on the last tour were pretty poor. Yes there was a lot of screaming, but it seemed like people were putting on a show for the band. There wasn't the same togetherness being in the audiance, some people wanted to hear some things, others different things e.t.c. I felt like an outsider at the shows I was at because I knew about the band!

More expensive for who? It cost me an arm and a leg to go and see Bon Jovi last time (which I supose isn't too bad as they need the money being struggling musicians and all)! I'd expect to pay around about Ģ20 less to go to an arena! More expensive for the band? Well surely they should be less concerned about making a killing and more about putting on the best show they can! If they think that's in stadiums then fine, but I'd be really upset if it was a money thing.

They do a 'no hits' tour. That'd get rid of about 50% of the stadium audiance who only go to hear 'it's my life'.

I think its something to dp with the feeling of being outside. I say that as although as good as Cardiff 2001 was, with 50-60 thousand people there, they left the roof on which took some of the atmosphere away IMO.

Dont know why but having the feeling your outside and not indoors makes a difference for me.

I would love to see them playing in a hall again, like in 93. You have more contact to the band I think
