Default Should Jon get rid of Bobby?

OK, most agree, he butchers most solos. Does he add anything positive to the show, or is he just messing the sound up?

He should, but he won't. He's got a great voice, but it's not really needed. Bon Jovi were a great 5 piece band until 2004, so we know he isn't absolutely necessary (except on a few songs like WWWB or WLOL, which we could do without).

I'm fine with him if he was a rhythm guitarist. The thing is, you can NEVER hear him, except when he's butchering a solo. I couldn't tell you what Bobby plays on half of the songs. He's not an official member, so he shouldn't get any solos. If anything, Dave ought to get more solos.

I have no problem with Bob being around but he shouldn't do solos.

I voted no-I do think he fills out the sound somewhat, and he is a good ryhthm guitar player but he should not be solo-ing on anything!

Bobby is there not because of his professional skill ....
He is Jon's protégé he will never go but what is annoying is that he gets more and more 'work' to do

I don't mind him staying. I just want him to stop playing guitar solos like in in these arms. It's Richie's job not his.

i voted Yes. i ain't got anything against the man himself, but again, I don't think he's adding anything to the mixture and yeah, he butchers the solos.
back when richie handled all the solos and jon filled in whenever necessary things worked didnt it ? still, the bottom line is: ever since bobby joined, you could see how lazy richie became !

I think he should go. I know he's Jon's friend but he brings nothing to the show.

He does a job well of adding an extra guitar to the sound, but he should not be given any solos. especially when you have guitarists of the calibre of Sambora or Phil X who can utilise more than one note in a solo.
