Default Should Kid Rock's Fan Club Get Pre-sale Access

I just brought a ticket for July 9th from Kid Rock's fan club. It only cost $10 to join. I got Pit seats and paid less money in fees and no will call hassle, just regular mail. Members of BS were doing it too and were posting about it. BS admins closed and deleted the thread. Has anyone heard of an opener getting premium seats through its own pre-sale?So now over there the question is why.

Yes. I've seen it many times actually, seems to be common practice anytime there's an artist who has a "name" opening these days. I don't really have a problem with it, as there have been plenty of shows where I've just gone to see the opener. In fact, I did it with AAR a few times last year.

Did AAR have its own pre-sale for their Jovi shows. I am on the fence only because a ticket plus fees was less through his fan club, then the bands own.

I wasn't part of the AARmy at that point, so I honestly don't know. I don't think so though.
And honestly, I wouldn't tell you how to feel, but I don't see any problem with it. It's not like you're scamming anyone.

Thanks Brian. I don't feel bad about doing it but what bothers people I guess is the amount of fees. Almost $50 less than BS kinda bothers me.No sense making it a big deal out of it. Its just funny how BS pulled the topic.

Sugarland's fan club had their own batch of tix when they were opening for Keith Urban last year. It seems like I had another example, too, but it won't come to me right now. Maybe because I'm supposed to be SLEEPING now! But I'm on a ticket high, too. I joined "The Kid Rock Congregation," too, and got tix for Kathleen, Paul, their daughter and me on the inside aisle in section 6. The convenience fees are so much less that I made up the $10 to join with just one ticket!

I was already FC for Kid Rock, it is a Detroit thing. Anyhow of course I had somewhere to be when the sale started tonight, all that was left for Jersey or Chicago was the far right section on the floor. To far over when travel is involved for me, would rather have 1st lower tier, so waiting until tomorrow.

So I said screw it and got Pit for the 2nd night in Toronto. They also had tickets for the 1st night in Toronto, so I got row 5 Section A4, which is dead center. Section A4 was also coming up for the 2nd night in Toronto. Either night this section tickets were $128.50 plus fee.

Now that is what is garbage, first tickets go on sale first through KR FC. Then they have tickets for the 1st night in Toronto, those have been gone through the BS FC since the first day or two they went on sale. On top of all that, they have for the middle section. Now on any show I have tried for so far(Detroit, Vegas, Chicago, Philly, Jersey, Toronto), the middle section has only been for circleside through BS FC, which was at least $500 a ticket. So why did the KR FC have the middle section for regular price?

Just not getting the BS FC ticket crap at all. You can do better through TM and the several presales they have, through other FC's or for my hometown through a connection at the venue. Daughter got me the FC membership as a surprise, told her to ask next time, cause I let mine lapse for a reason, and now with the ticket crap it is even a bigger reason not to bother.

Aloha!

Does the Kid Rock fanclub have tickets for every show he is supporting? Even the ones that have been on sale for months now like Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and the first show in Toronto?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Seb, they do not have tix for Calgary listed, but they have the other shows you mentioned listed. They also don't list the first 3 shows at the Meadowlands or the first show in Chicago.

Cheers. I'm on section 1 for Giants, but for Toronto I've got killer seats. Section A3 on night 1 and section A4 on night 2. Me and Erik will have an amazing view.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
