Default Shout

OK, I know this has probably been done before, but hell, it's only a vote, if you've already done it before, please don't cause a fuss.....

On another thread, it was suggested (by me) that they should drop Shot form the set list, the last few posts have all been agreeing with this completely.

So I'm just wondering, would you like to see Shout dropped from the set list.

Definitely. I think it's been done for too long now. It was cool the first time I heard it, from the Live From London tape I think it was, but now I just don't think it's as much of a crowd pleaser.

Also, I don't think Jon can manage the long opening notes as well as he used to do.

I like the song but Bon Jovi should get it out of their setlists and instead do these days or social disease

I agree - they don't do a bad job of it, but they've been doing it for like ten years already.

If they're going to do encores, they should do a Bon Jovi song that they don't usually do or something.

I hate the song, and it makes it even worse that it's a show ender (despite the encores that follow). You go to a Bon Jovi concert, hear lots of Bon Jovi, and just as you're about to leave for home, this rubbish surfaces.

They've totally lost the element of suprise. When you hear Bad Medicine, you know Shout is just around the corner. I prefer not to know what's coming next, and then celebrate in gleeful exuberence when one of my favorite songs pops up out of nowhere. I can't say the same for Shout. Ban Shout. Condem it to the fires of Hades (well, perhaps that's taking it a bit too far).

Quick Recap: No more Shout.

Yeah, as a BJ fan, you can sort of predict what is coming, but wouldn't it be cool to be able to predict that something unpredictable was coming up straight after the first encore break. THAT is the kind of 'consistency' we'd like to see in the set!

If they play Bad Medicine they should keep it in.
