The montreal show, show starts at 6. Safe to assume two opening acts. When do you think Jovi will hit the stage/finish? I'm debating whether or not I can make a greyhound bus back home if it leaves at 12 and is a 4 minute drive from the venue. Then again, it suggests I be there a half hour prior. Hmmm, your thoughts?

I just can tell about Europe where they usually started around 8 pm, sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later. Ending time is difficult to say since you can't say prior how long they will play. It can be 2 hours but also 3 hours. It varies a lot. The avarage time was 2 1/2 hours though.

I have been wondering this too. For the last Giants show the tickets say 7pm. Since there is the contest winner and Nickelback is it safe to assume Bon Jovi won't hit the stage til about 9:00? Is that a good guess?

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Depends on how long Nickelback will stay on stage as it will be their only show with BJ in their home country... But BJ should be on stage at 8 pm. Every show I've been to in Montreal it's been 1hr per opening act (show + stage set up for the next band).

Wouldn't shock me if the show is an hour longer so the Nickelback set can go atleast another half hour. Like you said, it's their one big stadium show in Canada.

How big audience has there been in Giants earlier years... on One Wild Night Tour and Bounce tour?
Stadium holds like 80 000 people... And why the hell there have been seats on the field... at least on One Wild Night?

In the USA everything is seated. I don't know why, I think it has security reasons since there were some accidents in the past. And instead of doing it like in Europe with the pit they seat everything. But most Americans want it this way. There were loads of moaning everywhere because this time a part of the stadiums in the USA will be Generell admission.

hmm...okay. It just feels that the seats would get on your face when you wanna jump or dance. I think that if I had to try cope in that seat jungle I would start riot and then there would be those problems you said before...

LOL, I'm actually not one of the moaners! I LOVE the fact that we have a GA element in the shows this summer!

But, yes, in general most concerts are NOT GA in the US due to state laws not allowing it. Most of these laws were enacted when people were crushed and killed at a Who Concert back in the late seventies.
