These Days was only a week out back when they played Wembley and they still played 3 songs from it on the final night. So this theory of them not playing it live because These Days just had been released makes no sense.

I only listen to Lost Highway, so I can't argue with you.

Still, it wasn't played on the 1995 tour in support of Cross Road, yet you say it sounded awesome live in 1995. If you've never heard it live in 1995, how can you say it sounded awesome back then?

It was only played in 1996 in Europe, and that tour was the first tour completely in support for These Days. Not for Cross Road.

Because it sounds shitty on every bootleg I've got. Even Jon admitted years later that they could never get Something For The Pain right, but played it because fans loved it and it had been a single.

Got it now?
Too bad superstupid needs explanations for the easiest topics on here while maling no sense at all with his bollocks comments.
It's you who doesn't get it. If the band could play Hey God in Wembley, a song that wasn't planned as a single back then, and a song nobody knew, then why couldn't they have played Something For The Pain? It's your theory, not mine.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Live albums must be really worthless to you.

OWN is an example of pure perfection. I adore it.

And yes - OWN is really worthless to me. As are live albums and most bootlegs. I rather go to a show then listning to crap quality. So the first time in ages you get sth for the first time without any explanation. Clap Clap tulip boy!
OWL? Listning? sth?

Somebody's getting excited. Too bad you're wrong. Bootlegs are a lot better in showing how the band played than a subjective fan listening to one of his favourite songs. Most of the times bands play bad. Bon Jovi is no exception. You might like it in person at the show, but in fact it was a shitty performance and you only enjoyed it because you SAW it.

And I love seeing how easy it is to rattle your chains.

So, back to Bon Jovi.
I listened to all of TD last night, and I was thinking Jon could probably pull out a *somewhat* respectable version of Lie To Me.

maybe if Jon and Richie exchange harmonies, in that song Jon goes for the higher notes in the chorus and Richie goes for the lower ones. So maybe, just maybe if they exchange them. Still, I think he could pull off a decent version of Damed, not perfect but good enough like he did on the Bounce tour in toronto. (I think it was the bounce tour.)

Lie to me would be good, as long as Jon can give his voie enough smooth tone rather than the short sharp notes he normally hits.

Damned would be awful i think; it's high and tuning down would kill it's 'magic'
