Yeah, let's make me the prick here.

I give this board the opinion it so clearly needs (my opinion for the more illiterate among us) and yet so far, most times this happens you'll be quick to judge me for it because it's either things you know, but don't want to admit to yourself, or things you didn't know but can't seem to figure out for yourself, thus it being wrong according to your standards.

But yeah, I'm the prick here (that's sarcasm). But I'm not the one who's telling you to get lost, start a love affair with another band or whatever else you've told me to do simply because you can't handle people on here that think differently than you. If you'd be able to pick up on sarcasm and wouldn't act so butthurt every time there's a conversation going on about the shitty state this band is in, I just might take you seriously, as opposed to giving you very amusing memes describing exactly what I figure you must be like in real life.

And yes, we all know people on here want to be respected by me. That's how Jovitalk works. So start working on myself and one day I just may shine my light on you.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Lets elaborate here... Another tour with or without Richie?

Either way, YES is the answer.

Jon wrote half of KTF himself, half of TD himself and most of DA himself. All 3 albums combined only sold 3M copies in America (this was during a time when albums actually sold). IML was born hence the decade plus of outside song-writes begins...

The reason for the above is to show that even without Richie on guitar, Bon Jovi COULD still go on with Jon. Jon writes some by himself, he writes a few with Billy Falcon, John Shanks, and whoever else. Phil X is on guitar and another album / tour is on it's way.

Would Jon do a Bon Jovi album and tour without Richie? Or just do a Jon Bon Jovi album and tour? Three years ago I would have said Solo only but they are so massive under the Bon Jovi name and Jon proved the tour could go on without Richie, that I changed my opinion.

Why would Jon kill himself to do a solo album and tour to make 3 million when he could do it with the guys and make 20M.... Jon has crossed over at this point into his career. After 30+ years, it's less about the music and more about the business / money.

Richie is a little different but they'll hash it out as professional business partners do and we'll get a few more.

I can buy Faith and Destination but what half of These Days did Jon write himself?

I'm trying to decide how much I care about the question. On the one hand, I'd be disappointed if I never saw Bon Jovi in concert again and I'm still disappointed that I couldn't make it to a show on the last tour. But I'd rather see Bon Jovi tour without Richie than to go to a show where Richie is there and doesn't want to be. So I guess I hope they tour again, but without Richie. You can't trust him to show up. That makes me wonder if they ever will tour again since Richie isn't reliable. I mean, would they have Phil go on tour too for backup? It's just a mess. And there are certainly bigger issues in my life than whether or not my favorite band will ever play again. My answer is "don't know."

I'm trying to think through this - the longest between tours was almost 4 years, normally much less. The band just came off the road Dec. 13 and Richie hit it in Feb. of 14 and seems to be at least going through the summer. Per the gossip world (aka FB and twitter) people are saying that on Radio Disney Richie & Ori said they would be doing 85 shows. Not when BUT if there is truth to that, the summer will be AMOL continuation, next their album and then the promotion/tour for it. That could in theory put Richie on the road thru 2015. Now, the others had a break but he will be ready for one. There is way too much money on the table not to be a reunion/farewell tour of some type. Maybe late 2016 or even 2017.

Didn't someone mention Jon at the Hard Rock in Vegas saying IF it was over it was 30 great years? I still think time and money will help heal what is ailing them.

EDIT:BlyQJiACQAA-9UT.jpg Seems this was recently added to the BJ web site and fans are taking it as a sign? Does sound like it's not over but that doesn't mean a tour or even with the major players all in place.

The only people hungry for another Bon Jovi tour are the promoters, touring staff, entourage and hangers on like brother Matt. The cash cow will be wheeled out and milked again before too long. Jon will get bored and will have people whispering in his ear. Richie has said he will probably go back if offered more money. Tico & David are just hired hands at this point.

In my eyes Bon Jovi died the day Bobby started playing solos.

Source?

Anyway, ofc they will be back. Without Richie probably, because Jon sells roughly the same amount of tickets with or without that expensive asset.
