We really don't know that for sure yet. Those tickets were already sold prior with the hopes of a Richie return.

Have them do an album and tour without Richie and then see what happens.

Good point/article. Vegas has 2 new venues opening (one in 2016 and other around then). One is an 80,000 capacity outdoor venue that will host Rock in Rio (yes in Vegas) in 2015, 2017 and 2019. Been wondering about that. The article that attributes that quote: http://www.theaureview.com/brisbane/...sbane-20-02-14 seems to have made up the intro to Learning How to Fly with a Broken Wing, and the These Days performance () so I've never actually seen him say that. Do you have the link?

I dont think there will be a tour or album for at least 3 years.

I agree. This is going to be another one of those gaps like we had between TDs and Crush.

Figure the tour ended in '96 and Crush / Sex Sells could have been released in '99 so I'm figuring more of the same this time around.

Instead of movies it's Jon's charities with some type of solo stuff thrown in. Not sure what though. I just don't see a full album and tour happening. Maybe something with movie tunes and a two month mini-tour to promote it next summer with an all-star solo band.

They just recognized 30 years so hopefully we'll get something this year but without Richie to help promote it, who knows.

The only thing that concerns me this time around is the fact that Richie wants nothing to do with Bon Jovi the band. Even during certain breaks, he still performed with them. Fan Club thing in Florida in '98, Red Bank and Japan shows during 90 / 91.
