So what's the verdict on Richie?

It's only been a couple shows since we've started to notice anything. We will just have to see what happens. It's also sad to see that some of you think Jon doesn't care about Richie. That's just nonsense. Beyond Big-Ego-Jon and Businessman-Jon, there's still Richie's-Best-Friend-Jon.

Either way, music is healing. The LH Denver show was the 1st show after Richie's DUI in 2008. I tell you...when Richie sang "These Days" you could feel it.

Yeah, I've seen that video before. He looks uncomfortable. It will be such a shame if he goes back to the booze.

He looks exactly like he did on the MTV unplugged performance. That said, I don't think we have enough empirical evidence to make any assumptions.

How often does Jon forget lyrics? How often did he show on stage that he's not in da best mood?? Hor often did he make mistakes up there? And didnt we catch him chewing gum as well several times?

Maybe RS made some mistakes up on stage for a couple of shows? The heck with it!!
He is 50 years old and he didn't care of his body much in the past. He isn't the youngest anymore and we have to live with it! Being up on stage almost every single evening is a hard job and is tiring much... Maybe he needs just some rest to perform the way he did, just a couple of days ago..

Maybe he just didn't feel well? Many people feel ill lately!

There could be HUNDREDS of reasons for screwing up a little bit on stage. But claiming on here that he is drinking again without knowing ANYTHING is just.. a shame! Yes, it's a shame!!

People calling themselves being a "fan" and starting rumours like this, are just boneheads, if you ask me... As long as nothing is confirmed we all don't know ANYTHING about it!!
And worst thing is: It must bereally upsetting and sad for Richie, Ava his family and the band if this rumour will make it all over the net because of people on here. He must be really PROUD of this "fans"!!

I would sound terrible as well if I had played 4000 shows on auto-pilot and then 'Daredevil' Jon changed things.

There are a number of reasons why he could be making some mistakes, chewing gum, or looking a tad worse for wear and they don't all point to him falling off the wagon.

Everyone here loves Richie and is speaking from genuine concern over his well-being but I think we need to take a deep breath and settle down. Besides, Jon loves Richie too -- more than any of us -- and as much as we like to bag him (he kind of begs for it with the CEO thing), I think Jon would look out for his mate if anything was wrong.

Crap - look at the end when he salutes Jon. Nothing wrong there!

No one has said he is back drinking again, we are purely speculating. We've seen the signs before and we're seeing them again, people who have seen the last few shows have categorically said there's something wrong with him. It's only natural and healthy to discuss these things. Although some, like you can't do it in an adult fashion.

When Richie broke his shoulder Jon was willing to cancel the tour, but Richie convinced him he would be ok.

Sure you do: Making a charge against someone you don't even know and starting such bad rumours without thinking about poss. outcome = VERY ADULT!

Some of you are talking like "He IS dringing again" "He IS off the waggon again!" Nothing with "could be". ... And its NO WAY of a "healthy discussion" , no way pure "speculating"... some of you are STATING it, without knowing!!! Just insane!!!
