So no one expects any dates any time soon. Seems like the thread wasn't worth opening.

I don't expect tour dates being announced before the release date of the 2016 album because the game has changed, hence new rules. But it's all speculation of course.

Anyone expecting the venues to shrink a bit? I think it would be a good idea but somehow I just don't see Jon's ego going for that....

I'd be chuffed with another o2 residency.

Love him or hate him - he's still in a position to know far more than most.

Everyone keeps asking about 2016 tour. Check back in a couple months.

Id like them to play shepherds bush empire. No need for somewhere souless like 02 or Wembley arena.

Time to get intimate.

I am
I dont see them filling Wembley stadium anymore unless its their only UK date.
They would probably have to add an extra night but no need for Villa park, sunderland, coventry etc.

Id like to see Shepherds Bush empire

I'd like them to go arenas only in Europe but, as already mentioned, Jon's ego might be too big for such a huge downsize. Maybe they could go for smaller stadiums that are, above all, much cheaper to rent. I'd really like to see them coming to South-Eastern Europe once again, too.

Everyone keeps asking about 2016 tour. Check back in a couple months.
do you mean Jon's brother knows more than the fans ? (or is <most> meaning someone else in the Jovi camp ?) Of course, Matt knows more than the fans- as the fans know nothing, they just speculate - it doesn't mean he really gives away any special info though.
This is very vague message - typical answer where you can read what you want to read .... he tells the fans asking to check back at the end of 2015 (or later ? does <couple> means 2 or more) but he doesn't say anything on what info we will get in 2 months.
Can they plan a tour based on the band popularity solely (not waiting for the new album impact) - lately I am totally off and expect stuff that are absolutely not happening so who knows ...but don't they need time to sell a tour even in arenas - I cannot see a tour happening before Mid 2016 then what part of the world will they tour first ? I doubt it will be europe

I also think they need to cut down the tickets price and tour smaller venues in various places - no more 6 shows in Toronto and 3 shows in Chicago they would have to indulge the smaller cities to become popular -they would need to flatter the audience to pick their interest - one way to do that is to VISIT small places

Yes venues like Shepherd Bush or Hammersmith Apollo in London are nice venues but it is so small - to make the amount of money they were used to make in such small venues they will need to tour extensively in small venues and everywhere and somehow I doubt they can do that-
but like I said I am wrong all the time so they will do exactly the opposite of what I imagine

No chance.

This is a place for young artists and bands like Europe, Poison, etc. And I'm sure Jon knows that. The only way that's happening if it's a streamed 60-90 minute radio/online promo show, like Shepherds 02, Amsterdam 05, NY 2010, Philly 2010, etc.

I would expect a fall tour this time (because if I remember correctly, the previous Europe summer tours were announced sooner), which means arenas, with a few nights at O2, a couple at Ziggo Dome, one in each major German cities and then one in many other European cities.
