2. There's a reasonable chance the band may be a bit stressed from the European Leg. And I'm not just going by the evidence that Jon was pissed at Richie at Twickenham or anything like that. It just seems natural, and there's always a chance any tensions could carry over into this final run. Of course, last tour they capped off the European Leg with the Chernobyl-esque disaster known as Hull, and I remember the final North American Leg was pretty strong after that. Twickenham may have been a bit disappointing, but it was still a good gig and light-years away from Hull.

Still, is anyone worried any pissy tensions from the long UK leg could be a factor?

1. Could we be heading for "vanilla" again? Sure. I hope not, but it's possible. I think Bayfest and Central Park will probably gets sets along the line of Rock In Rio -- pretty standard. But as I've said elsewhere on here, it didn't matter that night, did it? Remember how excited we all were to be Jovi fans after that show? If they pull off a performance like that at Central Park (and I'm close enough to even see the stage) I'll be thrilled to death. As far as the arena shows go, I think it all depends on what the band is planning to do for the DVD. There's already a DVD devoted to Lost Highway, so I'm really not expecting a ton of LH songs for this DVD. If they are planning to put a few old rarities on it, then we might see some in Detroit and Boston as they try to decide what would work best. Considering the number of times that Dry County was played and how it sounds, I am hoping and praying that it is already planned for the DVD. Surely they want that song on a official DVD at some point. It didn't make it on Live From London when the time was truly right. With Jon's voice this good and Richie on fire, surely this is time! That's my hope anyway.

2. I'm not worried. Is it possible that they were getting on each others last nerve by the end of the European leg? Maybe, or maybe we just read too much into one particular moment. Are they gonna be pissy onstage when they're recording a DVD? I sincerely doubt it.
