Have solo tours in the past come through the UK?

Yes, I seem to recall that Richie did a gig in Manchester. Not sure on the details, but I think they did come through the UK, yes.

Sure! - Jon did his first UK solo gig in '97 at the London Forum.
(see my sig! )
Richie also did three gigs here, two at the Shepherds Bush Empire
in July '98 and one in Manchester a day or two later.

They both also did a lot of promo in London too. Jon did a couple of stints at Virgin Radio and also did Capital radio, TOTP, TFI etc.
Not forgetting the Sounds and Visions concert at Wembey Stadium and the radio one roadshow gig in Bournmouth, Dorset.
Richie also did a secret showcase gig at Ronnie Scotts in London, which was organised by the record co. There were only about 50 fans there!

He did, and it ****in rocked!!!!!!!!!

I'm very upset I didn't apreciate it like I should have done... THe concert itself I did, it was increadible, but the fact that Richie Sambora was at the Manchester Apollo (my fav venue, 2500 cap) is something I didn't apreciate as much as I should... If he did it again I'd be down the night before queing for tickets to get at the front... I was infront of the soundboard I seem to remember, and in terms of how I'd usually see him it was close, but for that venue it's as far back as I've been... if only I could get that time machine sorted out!

I really hope Richie does another solo tour, because at the time I was only 10 so obviously I wasn't that big of a music fan. But everything he does solo seems to turn to gold (at least for me, his music suits my tastes), and it would be a great experience.
