I'm with you on that one...I've been a Jovi fan for what seems like forever...had always missed out on seeing them here for one reason or another....finally, Richie was touring solo. [did eventually see Jovi at the Universal gig in 2001...fabulous gig but had a god awful time...]
That was it...be damned if I was missing something again...so went and saw him here at a nightclub called 'Heaven'....I knew he'd be good, great even...but he was freaking AWESOME!!!! For people who haven't ever seen Richie perform solo...if he does do some solo shows in the future, and you can get there...GET THERE...honestly, he's amazing and his rapore [?sp] with the crowd is very special.

I really can see that happening and I can understand why you prefer Richie solo to Jon solo.

I haven't seen either of them solo and I think I never will. There's no way they would ever come to Scandinavia and I think I wouldn't travel to mainland Europe or to UK to see them solo. I'd rather see Jon than Richie, but I have to say that I'm not a big fan of their solo works.

i'd go and see every UK Richie show and maybe one Jon show, depending on how good the album accompanying it was. i wouldn't have gone to see Jon support DA, i thought it was poor.

im quite surprised at the amount of people whod go see Richie over Jon. As bad as this might sound I think if I saw just Richie live id keeping looking to his left expecting to see Jon. I think id be a bit sad at him not being there

That's what I was like. I've been to both Jon and Richie solo shows, and Richie was amazing, but I kept thinking to myself, I wish Jon was here. It was a very small club and I was front row and it was really really great but I really missed Jon and it was kinda sad to know Jon wasn't going to pop out!
Jon on the other hand was great even though I was far away and it was a huge stadium, I had a great time and to be honest I didn't really think about Richie too much, it was a great night.
Have to say i'd choose a BJ show over either of them - anyday!!

I'd love to see either Jon or Richie. I'm a fan of Richie's solo work more but I also love hearing just Jon sing the Bon Jovi songs (and Richie, too). I'm very lucky that I live in a metropolitan area that's close to Jersey so if either of them do a solo tour, I'll hopefully be able to attend Ticket prices don't even matter- I'm there.
