In my county (which has had a lot of cases of H1N1), the vaccine is free to people who fall in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's priority groups and who get it at a public clinic. The shot is also available at some pharmacies, doctors' offices, etc. when they can get a supply. These private businesses are allowed to charge or bill your insurance. I'm not sure if they are still restricted to providing the shot only to the priority groups or not. There's still a definite shortage of the vaccine.

Just seeing this blows my mind. If it's a joke it's a pretty sick one. If it's not a joke...............I shudder to think how those kids will turn out.

As a parent myself - NOTHING comes ahead of my kid's health - absolutely nothing - not even my own health.
