Default Southampton - LAST YEAR

I keep reading peopel saying Southampton wasn;t so great last year (in comaprison to other shows aroudn the same time)

Why?

Is it because they saved certain songs for the bigger shows? Or what?

The crowd were certainly good in Southampton that night so it must be soemthing BJ related - are they really THAT much better than how they were at Southampton last year and if so when is this magic likely to be rec-reated - only at the very biggest shows?

I hated that gig last year- The M25 was shut and it took me 6 hours to get there, and ended up in a grubby hole where the first local I saw was pished and staggered up to me and said "Bon Jovi are shit". Nice!
Then all the merchandise ran out in fat bastard size by the time I got there and queued half hour for it, and then our seats turned out to be shockers in line or just behind the stage.

Although I thought Bon Jovis performance was fine, I hated everything else about it and am dreading the return trip next year!

LOL ... I was there !!

I remember a great evening. Everyone round my area was having a good laugh ad sing-a-long.

It was all last minute and Hubby got ticket at the far end. So I am hoping this time we will be close to the stage end !

I was also there in Gold Circle last year, I went with my wife and took my brother in law to a jovi show for the first time, It was about the 10th show for my wife and I.

For me it was probably my least favorite show of the 10 that i had seen, I cant really explain why though. I still enjoyed it but i came away thinking it was just average, nothing special. I have seen them at wembley several times, milton keynes, cardiff and these felt special but i just didnt get that at St Marys.

Saying all this my brother in law who doesnt really know many Bon Jovi songs loved it and is coming again this year, he thought it was the best show he had ever been to, My wife also liked it.

Saying all the above i have booked Gold Circle for St.Marys this coming tour mainly beacause Twickenham sold out. I just hope this year we get a special show with some surprises.

Well they were great at MK Night 2, aside from Jon's semi-painful voice
