Panos jon has said they skipped spain and greece for these reasons but a few weeks later mentioned a surprise for spain during the summer, so they may participate in a festival

There is the 'Rock In Rio' in Madrid with the line-up and date still to be confirmed who know's. Maybe this.

It's not a matter as to whether you can afford the tickets, it's a matter of promoters and everyone involved has the money and ability to set up a show or 2 and be able to cough up the money Jon and AEG want.

Rock In Rio Madrid won't happen this year I heard, it's postponed to next year in favour of Rock In Rio in Brazil. In 2014 Rock In Rio will take place in Madrid and Lisbon again.

Gelredome is still mentioned in regards to a Dutch show.

I've heard talks about Tenerife. Not really the first thing you'd think of when talking about a Bon Jovi concert in Spain though, but Spain is Spain I guess.
