Man I knew the 'big announcement' would suck! Blah!

On a lighter note... Jon's voice was sounding good.

Setlist
Who Says You Cant Go Home
We Weren't Born To Follow
You Give Love A Bad Name
Wanted Dead Or Alive
It's My life
Living on a Prayer

WWBTF sounds much better live. You can actually hear Dave on the keyboard which gives the song a much more 80s sound. I managed to get a recording of it but my connection glitched twice so there are 2 small missing gaps, but its a decent recording.

No worries.

I really hope Who Says doesnt become a part of every set list. It wasnt even big in most places outside of the US. Have A Nice Day was much bigger in Europe, Japan and Australia.

To me the first 3 songs sounded a bit lame, then it got definfately better. Jon's voice was good, he sang Prayer better than on many shows in the last years IMO, but Richie made quite a few mistakes and also didn't sing that much backing vocals. Additionally, the webcast quality was bad and I hoped for at least 2 or 3 new songs
And who was that loud in the mix during Born to follow? Bobby?

Given the songs subject matter, I'm not shocked they opened with it.

Jon's voice was horrible, both in Born To Follow and in Prayer. In Born To follow he got tired even before the first chorus, and in Prayer, the "Livin' On A Prayer" before the solo was awful. He seemed in pain.

They're bloody rusty is all I'll say. I've never seen Richie make so many balls-ups in a 3hr show let alone a 20-30 minute set and Dave didn't fare much better. Also, I don't know what version of Prayer some of you listened to but Jon sounded awful and absolutely butchered the pre-solo vocal.

What was with Hugh walking off stage during the bows as well? Seemed a bit off.

The new track seems to lack the same thing live that IML lacks - a bit of balls and depth. It's not surprising given the album production though. They just can't replicate that BIG studio sound live but it wasn't bad.

Perfrmance-wise, I'd give it a 6/10 by Jovi standards. Below par.

Agreed and MR Samboras guitar playing was pretty ropey too.
Not a great performance by any means

Yeah Jon seemed tired during WWBTF. I thought he sounded great in Wanted and WSYCGH.
