Eeasily. We mean the music was pulled from a recent concert.

Tico has to do the drumming, is what I am saying. You can see the movements happening. Also, I don't know if they'd do "It's My Life" in concert intentionally leaving out "Don't bend don't break baby don't back down."

I could be wrong, but I still think the performance was live. Even if the words were live and music prerecorded---the "musical part" for the missing lines would be there, I'd think, unless they cut the song short in concert.

Just thinking out loud here, as I have no proof one way or another---but who does other than them?

But if it wasn't amplified you wouldn't hear it over the prerecorded music ...

haha, I don't actually think that

a couple months ago me and some friends had a couple drinks and we were talking about who we'd go gay for, and all three guys said "Richie Sambora" for various reasons...hence my "theory"

Exactly my point. Melly, through the magic of editing, the song would have been cut at all the right places beforehand. It's not like that's the way they were performed. I'm standing by the fact that it's pre-recorded.

1) The chords Richie are playing don't match what we're hearing. There SHOULD be a capo on the 2nd fret. There isn't but the sound has one

2) You can hear Bobbys 2nd guitar and Jeff's second keyboard throughout.

I'm just not buying the music was played live. The vocals could be though.

I think The Captain is right. As I watched it live on TV I thought it was canned live music with live vocals for Jon and Jenn, they do this at a lot of events where there is not time to do proper soundchecking after stage setup or for "live" broadcast.
They actually played live just not at the same time as Jon sang it

Exactly. They did a similar thing at the recent Soul game too.

That is so funny about Richie and Jennifer. I was just reading over on the CMT Sugarland board and people are convinced there that Jon is going to pull a Garth Brooks and leave his wife and end up proposing to Jennifer a la Trisha Yearwood on stage-LOL! Gee, if Jennifer keeps singing with them there will be more rumors out there than the old Fleetwood Mac-LOL!

OKay---I've already said I can't tell for sure about the prerecorded music. Some are convinced it was prerecorded, and some are convinced otherwise. I am curious though if anyone who was there (near the stage setup and involved in the show) could tell us whether or not they know for sure what went on?
