It's funny to me that people would think that just because people work together! Rumors rumors--well Jon had his wedding band on Sunday.

I think most of those posting this are younger country fans who do not know Bon Jovi very well. It is pretty amusing- of course I set them straight.

The key is HAND... Richie usually plays it with a capo on the 2nd fret, this preformance he didn't. Can anyone tell if the music being played is actually in a different key?

Someone said they heard the extra keyboard parts... I knew I heard some random piano in the background when David was playing the organ.

You can see him playing HAND in the positions he would if a capo were there, I checked. That's what Im basing this argument on. I mean on Who says, you can hear an organ and a piano but Dave has been known to play both before at the same time so thats a moot point. but you CAN hear bobbys guitar during that one.

The vocals are the only thing live, the music has definately been pre-recorded.

No he plays the chords just as if there were no capo there. From the one shot it looks like he is playing the chords relative to no capo.. i.e. instead of playing a "D" when the capo is on he is hitting a "E" chord... which is the correct chord if you play it without a capo. But I dunno it sounds like he gets way to many sounds out of just that one guitar when I'm pretty sure he uses a strat for Who Says and I know he uses a Tele for HAND.

Drums are live for sure, you can just tell at the endings of songs and by watching the way the cymbals vibrate.

None of them are wearing in-ear pieces which I would think would be very important if they were to try to pull off backing music with all people and noise.

I can't believe that you guys pay such close attention to all this stuff. I don't understand what the big deal is. I'm serious, I'm not being snippy about it. Why does it matter if the music was live or the vocals were live. I guess I just don't break down their performances that much. Maybe it's a musician thing. I'm just curious.

Its a musician thing. Knowing most Bon Jovi song's guitar parts by heart and knowing how to play guitar I usually(and naturally) usually closely watch the guitar players when I see bands because I dig that kind of stuff.

Summed it up perfectly. I'm NOT picky when it comes to the band, this is jsut stuff I notice as a guitar player.

And Andrew, I literally pulled out a guitar and played the same chord he did (I think it was an A) and it was two frets off. And yes, I took into consideration it would be tuned half a step down. Trust us, the music was pre-recorded. Not that I care.
