Default Stage configuration for summer tour??

Has anyone heard anything about the stage configuration, it’s suppose to be a new stage for all of the stadium shows? I read somewhere that there will be sort of a ring in front of the stage, something like U2 did on their last two tours. In the middle of the ring will be a pit where fans will be able to stand and also around the exterior of the ring there will be some special seating or standing area.

I’m from Canada and will be seing the show in Montreal on July 13th. For us there is 3 catogories of prices… First 136$ (candian) wich says “VIP Pit” that’s what I have… then there’s some at 126$ wich says Pit 2 I think that’s outside the ring… finally 100$ for the general standing area… for all of those tickets it will be general admission wich means no seats so first come, first serves… I hope that the rumour about the ring is true and that my tickets will give me acces to the middle of it! No one can confirm this info not even the promoter. That would explain why the tickets are a bit more expensive… well compared to your 400$ tickets, ours are a bargain!

To be honest that sounds pretty similar to what we had over here on these shores. Main stage connnected to a semi-circular walkway by two bridges.

I can't understand why they use this setup anyway cos the only one of them that actually used it at all was Jon and even that was for just a couple of songs. Most of the time he stayed centre-stage.

Hope you have a great time though and the inner pit is pretty cool. First time I've gone gold circle EVER and I don't think I could go GA Standing again after experiencing that!

Everytime I read that it bums me out a little. I wonder why he uses it so little...

Albany, NY 12/12/05. JBJ to me from the stage: "You been a good girl this year?" (Reads my sign) "Jon, It's almost Xmas I've been a very good girl! Play Blood on Blood please!" (cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

My only worry is that they will hand out bracelets to acces the ring… I plan to get there early but you never know. I’ve just managed to call back my ticket provider and still they can’t confirm if there is a ring or not but they say our tickets will get us to the front of the stage. I saw them this past December they only had a normal stage, we had floor seats wich were pretty good, 10th row so if I can get even closer this time it would be great! It would be my first time in the circle too. Guess we just have to wait for the monday show to be done and have more info from those who are going.

Old habit, Lizz. He only used the catwalk on the NJ tour for a couple of songs, one normally being Let It Rock when it was played. But, what was cool back then is Richie would also come out on it for a few songs since he had the wireless guitar.

And the stage will be EXACTLY like the one for the Europe shows with the ellipse.

7800 degres is a good 80's album, I like the sound of it. "In and out of love" is of course one of the best track on the album but I also like "To the fire" cause it sounds different, I don't know why but each time I hear it, it reminds me of the TV show Miami vice! Go figure! "Tokyo Road" is also a great one... may'be I'm mistaking but it seems like it's been a while since I heard songs from this album at one of their shows.

We only got access to the inner ring cos we got there early for the Hull gig. They handed out a set number of gold wristbands and the rest of the Gold Circle crowd only got access to the outer ring - it pays to be early!

I've always had the idea the ellipse won't be as big as the one here in Europe, especially with the seating area on the sides of the ellipse. Oh well, I think we'll see in a couple of days.
