I think that the reason why they're playing only one or two ballads per show is because they want to give the audience two hours of rock. They want the crowd partying and livin' it up, and not waving their lighters around and crying and being all sentimental. I think that's fine, and as long as they can physically pull off a two-hour show with all upbeat rock tunes then that's fine with me. Although I don't usually care two much for ballads in concerts, I want to rock, I must admit that would be great to hear both I'll be there for you and Right side on concert - they're my two favourite BJ ballads.
I think all in all, we can' t assume too much from the first 3 setlists. They evidently keep on changing bits and pieces to try out new things, and even though I think that some of their setlist is getting old (and I don't mean the old classics that get played every time, I mean songs like Twist and Shout ending the concert, yet again), it doesn't mean it's crap.
I think that we're all entitled to our opinions, and even though it's very easy to critisize a setlist of a concert you haven't attended, once you go to a concert, you feel that the setlist there is perfect. I don't mind people voicing different opinions, although I think that there is a constructive way of saying things. When people say it's crap or it sucks, they're just using those words to attract more attention and emphasis on the matter.
And for Captain.Crash, I hope that you have a rockin' time in the concert next month!!! Don't stop reading JT just because you don't like some of the things said here (they can be ignored easily) and don't let the opinions here spoil your concert experience. It's what you yourself feel and think that counts, not what other people might say. So you just have a rocking night, put all negativity aside and enjoy! That's what BJ is up on the stage for!!!
Did get some of the things off me chest...
