Reading about these scalpers and ticket touts and about how they manage to weasel themselves access to the best tickets in the house makes me appreciate our good ol' General Admission even more. At least we know we have a chance to get a good spot if we're willing to put a little effort into it and queue up early enuff... :P

You are so right, Anu, and I really hope it will never change. A start is done with this Gold-ticket rubbish in England. I hope this idea will never leave the island.

Having been to two general admission Bon Jovi shows, I have to say I'll take scalpers over GA anyday. I hate GA.

And I would absolutely hate it if it was forbidden to rush down to the front, even if there was room up there... I feel like the only way for me to do an all-seater show would be if I managed to get front row tickets, which we all know to be practically a mission impossible.

I thought it was just being there is what mattered, no matter how good a view you had?!

We had seats for the Capital Fm show, and i do have to say that was just as good as GA. Yes i wasnt on the front row like i was in 2001 OWN tour but hey, its being there what counts more. Seats or GA who cares as long as your there

Hey Anu

Wembley Arena this year was my first concert that wasn't generell admission and seated and I absolutely didn't like it (not the concert though, that was great). I sat in Row 18, sounds quite near to the stage, but in fact I was far from the stage like 40th row or even farer because of the seats inbetween the people on that nobody sat. I never was that far from the stage earlier.

The only positive thing was that I had some room for my jacket that I could put on the seat and that we didn't need to stand outside the Arena all day long waiting for the entrance.

Well, I was glad to be there but I wouldn't want this at every Show. At least here in Europe nobody sits during the show so why do they have seats sometimes? Doesn't make sense to me.

They dont have seats on UK shows as they know they can sell staduims. They know they can fill 60,000+ staduims, why do arenas when they can do this?! Makes sense to me doing staduims.

Hey Anu
Yeah it's easy for me to say that! But after being front row in Melbourne then WAY back in LA i know which i'd prefer! LOL But your right, being there is the important thing, i don't think anyone would disagree with that!!

I was about 12 rows behind the PA at Wembley Arena & had a brilliant time. As long as I can hear the band & the ppl around aren't statues I'll always have the best time. Sometimes I think its what u make of it.

We got front row at all the shows we went to last tour and i was on row 9 at wembley, and i do have to say both were good but the fact just being there having a good time with my mates, no matter how far no matter how close we had an ace time. I have been at the back of the arena to see a group and i had an ace time too. So no matter the cost of the ticket, where you get it from or where your are in the staduim/arena, its the being there thats most important!
