And you think that it is ok to do this? It seriously p*sses me off the fact that someone is actually using a fanclub membership...stopping genuine fans buying tickets to then go on and sell them at 5 times the price that they paid for them!! I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you. I know that in the States it is a pain to get fanclub tickets as you have to be at the venue but this still doesn't make this right. It happened at Shepherds Bush too. There were guys in the pub asking if we wanted tickets for £400 and believe me...they weren't BJ fans but they had managed to get tickets and there were SO many true fans that wanted to get to that show. I think it stinks and I wouldn't buy a ticket off a tout even if I was desperate...never have and never will.
Just my opinion!!

I have to say I agree with Aly. I was at SB and the prices these 'scum' were selling tickets for was unbelievable. There's no way I would, or could, afford to pay their prices. FC membership should be just that, the fact that it seems anyone can get FC tickets make the whole thing a farce.
The more people who buy from these people the more they'll keep doing it and that benefits no one, not the band or the fans. Just my opinion.

Do I think it's right for scalpers to have the markups they do? No, of course not. But am I going to sit in the nosebleed section to make a stand against a business that will never be brought down when I have the money to buy from scalpers? No. As long as the fan club has their ridiculous stipulations, I'll buy from scalpers. I WILL NOT put forth the money, time, and effort just to get to a show and have crappy seats. I am a fan club member, therefore, I should be able to purchase fan club tickets. Instead of helping those of us who have to travel the farthest just to get to a show, they penalize us. I'm going to do whatever I have to do to make my one concert a tour the most perfect experience possible. I'm selfish with few things in my life, but this is one of those things. Scalpers offer me a service the fan club doesn't. As long as they're doing a better job of supplying tickets than the fan club, you bet I'll use them. I can be financially responsible the rest of the year.
