Your best bet for parking would be along Wessington Way, it'll be signposted as you near Sunderland coming from the North. Sure there's park and ride available but it's only a 20 minute walk or so to the Stadium from there so if you are able to, it's not so bad.

There's St. Mary's car park on the town side which would be easier for access to the bars, etc and it's closer to the SOL (right at the opposite end of Wearmouth Bridge), but I'd guess it'll get full pretty early.

Well the forecast has improved a bit as no rain forecast from 5 now and as tonights show was short maybe we might get close to the full 3 hours, especially as they will have the Friday off.

Yeah. 8pm start, 11pm curfew.

I'm not expecting that. I can see this being a standard show in the eyes of the band (if you know what I mean) but either way, I'm going to enjoy it. I haven't seen them since 2011 and will just enjoy the experience!

Don't worry mate. Something will have to go seriously wrong for it to be another Hull.

If worse comes to worse, it will be standard show where you hear 'Keep The Faith', 'Wanted Dead Or Alive', 'Have A Nice Day' etc. it'll be a good night regardless of what happens. Lets just hope it's not a good night and it's a fantastic night!
