Great review, Seb. Enjoyed it.
However...I hate reading criticism of the band. Even though it's perfectly fair and everything you said is correct, I'm just a total fanboy and don't like to read it. Oh well.

great reveiw seb - thanks for the time and effort...
i will chime in much to everyones great delight and say that this sounds suspiciously like exactly what i was saying after night 1 when i got roundly wrecked for saying it just wasnt that great and that after time and reflection and post-show highs wearing off you would probably agree. i believe you said giants 1 was one of the best shows youd ever seen...clearly that isnt the case... and now on to brian.... if seb actually had anything to do with diamond ring, which is ridiculously cool if he did!, then if you take that and NSG, which was clearly an audible, and from what i read jon screwed up the first verse, it wasnt the teleprompters fault and the reliance on the telepromter has gotten totally out of control...then....wait for it..... not ONE rarity was scheduled for the ENTIRE GIANTS RUN especially for the OPENING night which is ridiculous...from what i heard about bruce CLOSING the previous stadium it wasnt all that great either which i also find ridiculous for home town guys. Pearl Jam closed the Philly Spectrum over a 4 night run with the last night being an epic 3 and a half plus hour show replete with rarities, great performances, and songs that pulled our of THEIR catalog that then NEVER played before...they are from the other side of the COUNTRY...that is how you respect the opportunity. i am once again reminded how i totally missed out on the afterparties though - which i continue to be bummed about and hope to make up for if anone ever decideds to come back to the area for a show (i do think the final night of the tour will HOPEFULLY be a hometown show with rarites, im hanging on by a string) or.... maybe the next hang is at a Europe show... ps should we start a new thread on greatness of Kat must have something to do with how she was raised....

Great reviews Seb. thank you for that. Someday I'll hope I can travel around the country, if not the world to see the band. If they do another leg in the US next year I will definitely travel for the 1st time, since I don't see them returning to Denver until the next album.
Although I hate to break it to you, but Diamond Ring was on the printed setlist for the 3rd night,
